Welcome to Teaching Of Lit [dot] Tripod [dot] Com. This site was created to be a resource for teachers (especially those student teaching). It is my hope that this site will offer a place for teachers to trade lesson plans, ideas, concerns, advice, and materials. If anyone has a lesson plan, lecture materials, overhead templates, discussion questions, activity ideas, classroom management ideas, or anything else to share, please email them to me (either as an attachment or copy paste it into the body of the email) with a brief summary (2 or 3 sentences) and the intended grade level. There is also a discussion board on this site where you can ask for help, vent, share interesting stories and ideas, link other sites, etc.

I hope that this helps everyone out a little. I wanted to do something to lower the stress levels and this seemed like a good idea. If anyone wants to help me with writing code or upkeeping the site, please let me know. Also, look for a standards decoder sometime this summer (I hope).
